Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Abdel Aziz Qansouh, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Professor Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, the university announces a distinguished event in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Microsoft Corporation. This event will take place on Wednesday, March 4th, and is the first of its kind on campus.

? Objective: To organize a direct meeting with Microsoft representatives to learn about the latest technological solutions and services that enable students and faculty members to maximize their learning and research.

✅ This will include the opportunity to take internationally accredited exams at no additional cost.

This event comes within the framework of supporting digital transformation efforts and promoting the use of modern technologies in the educational process, contributing to the development of the education system and raising the level of services provided within the university. We invite all students and faculty members to actively participate and take advantage of this unique opportunity.

On Sunday, 14/02/2016 a workshop has been held to evaluate the performance of Benha University E-portal on Cloud Computing Environment at the University Council Hall with cooperation of Microsoft and Link companies. It is worth mentioning that Benha University is the first public university hosts the Cloud Computing Environment on its E-portal.

The Faculty members and students who have Edu mail can download a group of full office 2013 programs for free for 5 devices. It is provided as an educational grant from Microsoft to those in the field of education (students and teachers).

Prof. Dr. Ghazy M.R. Assassa, the University Chief Information Officer «CIO» said that with the auspices and support of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President and in cooperation with Microsoft; the e-portal of the University has been hosted on the Cloud Computing as the first public University on that system. 

In the frame of the University seeking to provide distinguished technological services for faculty members, students, and employees; a meeting has been held on Monday, 18/05/2015 with a teamwork from Microsoft to discuss the various ways to raise the technological services efficiency and the programs presented by Microsoft like Edu-mail. The has been held in the presence of: 
- Prof. Dr. Ghazy Assassa, the Advisor to the University President for Information Technology and the Chief Information Officer 'CIO'; 
- Prof. Dr. Hala Helmy Zayed, the Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information;
- Managers of the University Information and Communications Technology Projects and some Managers of the Faculties IT Units.
