The Department of Curriculum and Instruction strives to prepare a generation of graduates with professional and ethical skills.
This prepares them to practice the teaching profession with high efficiency through the various academic programs offered by the department at different levels.
The Department of Curriculum and Instruction aims to:
Provide student teachers with comprehensive knowledge of curricula, including their design, evaluation, and development mechanisms.
Equip student teachers with teaching skills and strategies, and develop their ability to evaluate and improve these strategies.
Develop the teaching knowledge and skills of faculty members within the department, as well as staff from the college and university, through regular meetings and scientific seminars.
Prepare and qualify faculty members, researchers, and experts in the field of leading and teaching sports activities.
Provide professional development for physical education and sports teachers.
Educate and refine student teachers' teaching skills according to the latest international guidelines.
Develop learning and strategic thinking skills to promote self-directed learning. Providing a conducive learning environment to advance scientific research and implement its findings in the field of physical education curricula and teaching methods.
Offering specialized educational consultations in the field of physical education curricula and teaching methods to relevant stakeholders.
Maximizing the use of information and communication technology to maximize the benefits derived from physical education curricula and teaching methods.
Providing all necessary resources to achieve the department's overall goal: producing a generation of teachers trained according to the latest international standards to serve the community and meet the needs of the job market.
