The Department of Theories and Applications of Field and Track Competitions is one of the distinguished departments in the Faculty of Physical Education. It qualifies students in many different fields in athletics, such as training, teaching, refereeing, organizing and managing athletics championships. It also refines students in terms of physical and technical skills that qualify them to join military colleges, using the latest methods in training and teaching students.
The Department of Theories and Applications of Field and Track Competitions aims
- To provide students with the cognitive, intellectual, applied and professional information and concepts of the courses.
- Introducing students to modern technologies used in education and training for field and track competitions.
- Updating the curriculum in light of recent scientific developments.
- Applying safety and security measures during practical application.
