Intellectual Property Rights and Publications
1. The Faculty of Sports Sciences, Benha University, is committed to implementing all provisions of Law No. 82 of 2002 on the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights and Publications.
2. Faculty staff are prohibited from copying copyrighted works (books, publications, references, etc.) as this constitutes an infringement of the copyright of the author and/or publisher.
3. Faculty students are permitted to photocopy 10%–20% of the entire body of any book or reference protected by a local and/or international ISBN number.
4. Faculty members and support staff are permitted to display educational materials copied from specific sections of scientific references or international periodicals available in the library in classrooms for educational purposes, provided that the author's name and title are cited.
5. Electronic piracy, including copying CDs, software, or downloading them onto devices (without a license), is strictly prohibited.
6. The college libraries may photocopy a single copy of any work for the purpose of preserving lost or damaged originals for which it is difficult to obtain a replacement copy.
7. The college raises awareness of the rules and laws governing the preservation of intellectual property rights and publishing among faculty members, support staff, students, and administrators by distributing this form and posting it on the college's website.
