The proceedings of the Sino-Egyptian congress have begun in Benha University and it will last for three days. This conference discusses 115 scientific researches that are related to agriculture, veterinary sciences and engineering and there are 10 Chinese universities which take part in this conference accompanied by a Chinese delegation in addition to several faculties’ members in the Egyptian universities. 

In a sudden visit to the university’s hostels, prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady inspects the hostels of the boys in Kafr-Saad to make sure that everything is up and running. He is accompanied by prof.Dr. Gamal Ismail and prof.Dr. Hesham Abu EL-Enin and prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, the general supervisor of the university’s hostels.

Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady participates in the two-day conference entitled “Moving forward to knowledge society and Egyptian innovation” that is organized by the committee of computer science and information technology in the supreme council of universities at Semarmis hotel in Cairo. This conference is held under the auspices of prof.Dr. Khalid Abd EL-Gafer, the minister of higher education, Eng, Yasser EL-kady, the minister of telecommunication and information technology and prof.Dr. Tarek Shawky, the minister of education.

The committee of pharmaceutics sector in the supreme council of universities visits a number of buildings in Benha University to choose one of them to be the building of the faculty of pharmacy for two years. This committee is presided by prof.Dr. Maher EL-Domyaty, Zagazig university former president and the membership of prof.Dr. Hamed Allah Zidan, an expert in the world healthcare organization and the professor in the faculty of pharmacy, prof.Dr. Salwa eL-Miligy, the dean of the faculty of pharmacy in Sadat Academy, prof.Dr. Ramadan EL-Domany, the dean of the faculty of pharmacy in kafr-sheikh University and prof.Dr. Atef Abd EL-Baky, the dean of the faculty of pharmacy in port-Saied.  The committee is accompanied by prof.Dr, El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, prof.Dr. Hesham Abu El-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies, prof.Dr. Mahmoud Abd EL-Sabour, the dean of the faculty of medicine and the prof.Dr. Muhammad Saied, the geometrical chancellor of the university, Mr. Wahid Khalawy, the general secretary of the university and prof.Dr. Magdy Thabet, the head of EL-Qulubia pharmacy specialists. 

Benha University gained a lot of offers form great edifices in China as follows: (1) the Chinese science Academy offers to sign a cooperation protocol with Benha University, (2) D.C. Logan offers to cooperate with Benha University in the field of energy, (3) a well-known company in China which produces Ethanol offers to cooperate with Benha university and (4) Benha university was invited to sign a cooperation protocol to teach Arabic language to the non-natives in the international language institute in Nyanja province.  All these offers result in Benha university president’s visit to China as he meets Mr. Howang Wai, the vice minister of science and technology in China and the governor of the Nyanja province to discuss the ways of cooperation between Egypt and China. 

In the frame of Benha University’s endeavor to develop the admission methods of the stduents to get enrolled in the post-graduate studies stage in the university’s faculties, prof.Dr.El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president stresses that it is very important to keep developing the post-graduate studies system. The MIS project holds a training course of those who are responsible of post-graduate studies in a number of the faculties.

Prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president inaugurates the first educational forum of the armed forces in the Egyptian universities. The inauguration is attended by major general/ Khalid Tawfik, the leader of defensive troops, major general/ El-Sayed Ghaly, the head of the war veterans association, the university’s vice presidents, the faculties’ deans, the faculties’ deputies, the faculties’ members , the employees and the stduents. 

Benha University’s council, under the presidency of prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president, approves on the report of prof.Dr. Gamal Abd EL-Aziz, the head of strategic planning unit in the university. This report is about holding forums to spread awareness among the employees to pay attention to the importance of the strategic plan of Benha University. These forums will begin in next September.  

The technological and the scientific of Benha University activity wins the second place in the Robot forum for the second time in a row which takes place from 22-4-2017 to 26-4-2017 in Helwan university with the participation of ten Egyptian universities.

In the day in which Egypt celebrates Sinai liberation, Prof Dr. El-Sayed EL-kady, the university president visits the university’s construction site in Obour-city to insect what is going on there in addition to meeting Engineer/ Sameh Muhammad and prof.Dr. Dina EL-Nagar and he listens to the explanation of what they supervise.
