Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president invites the president/ Abd EL-Fattah El-Sisi, to sponsor the week of the youth talk which will be held in the university from 25-2-2017 to 28-2-2017. The event will be held in the presence of the presidents and professors of the Egyptian universities and more than 1000 students who are representing 24 universities. The youth will be held under the auspices of prof.Dr. Ashraf El-Shihy, the minister of the higher education and scientific research. The university president announces that prof.Dr. Gamal Shiha, the head of the education board and the education board representatives were invited in addition to inviting the education boards of the presidency, the parties and the civil society representatives and education experts to participate the activities of the youth talk about the educational process and scientific research. 

Prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president, his vice presidents, the faculties’ deans, the faculties’ deputies, the faculties’ members, the university’s employees and university students were struck by the news of the mean terrorist attack on the ambush in El-Arish on Monday morning. The university leaders, on their part, were determined to face terrorism and they mourn the homeland martyrs who were martyrized for the sake of defending Egypt. May Allah have Mercy on their purified and blessed souls. 

Benha University congratulates Prof.Dr. Mustafa El-Sayed Abd- El-Moniem, the lecturer at the department of mechanical engineering in the faculty of engineering- Shubra, on being the deputy manager of the management information system in the university for one year wishing him great success in his new position.

Prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president declares that it is time to apply for scholarships in the Chinese universities. These scholarships are in the frame of the university delegation and the university president visit to China and the visit was too successful to get 100 scholarships for the next five years. The university president asserts that cultural relationships department in the university sends many letters to the universities’ faculties let them know about these scholarships for all students and faculties’ members to maintain the principle of transparency. He stresses that the deadline to apply for these scholarships is 15-1-2017. The university president adds that the required documents for application are the following; the scientific certificates, 2 recommendation letters in the major, a photo copy of the passport and the medical test, an English language written plan, and a certificate of English language fluency, a photo copy of the published researches and personal photo. The university president states that there are five scholarships for five years in different disciplines at Wuhan University. These Chinese universities are among the best 200 universities around the world according to the international rankings.

In his meeting with the student activities officials and prof. Dr. Khalid Esawi, the general supervisor of the student activities in the university on Sunday, 28-11-2016, Prof. Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president stresses that the university leaders seek that students should participate in the different student activities in order to buff the character of Benha university's students, participate in developing his society, have many skills to help him face the requirements of life. The university president asserts that students should feel that they own the different facilities of the university in order to protect them. Finally, the university president indicates that the university wants to boost the student's confidence, get them away of the distracting environments where depression and indifference exist by increasing the student activities in all faculties. 

The University council approves that there is a cooperation protocol between Benha University and Rennes University. Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Fouda, the dean of the faculty of law at Benha University signs the protocol with Prof. Dr. Julian budu, the dean of the faculty of law at the University of Rennes during his visit to France. The protocol sets forth that curriculums should be classified into two parts: the parts that will be taught using the French language and the parts that will be taught using Arabic language. Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Fouda, the dean of the faculty of law indicates that this protocol will be put into action in Mars, 2017 when the president of the University of Rennes meets the president of the University of Benha to initiate the academic year 2017/2018.

 Prof.Dr. Mahmoud El-Eraqi, the dean of the faculty of agriculture in Moshtohor states that the faculty organizes a workshop about the Egyptian Knowledge Bank on Wednesday, 23-11-2016. This workshop is held under the auspices of prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-kady, the university president, prof.Dr. Hesham Abu-El-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and research. 
The workshop is important because the university seeks to enhance the abilities of researchers, the staff members and the students. 

The University council headed by Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-kady, the university president honors the family of martyr Abd-Allah El-Gendy who was assassinated by the terrorists in Sinai. This event was attended by prof.Dr. Gamal Ismail, the vice president of community service and environment development, prof.Dr. Hesham Abu-El-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and research and the faculties' deans. 
The University president stresses that armed forces plays a great role in the war against terrorism urging all to stand by the armed forces and the police. 
The board issued that the son of the martyr will be exempted from the fees of the university and his wife will also be exempted from the fees of post-graduate studies. The board gives the martyr's wife and son the honoring armature of the University.
