Students of Benha University have won the "Genius Universities" championship trophy for the eighth season after defeating Capital University (formerly Helwan) in the final match.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, congratulated the university's students on their outstanding performance during the championship, which qualified them for first place. He emphasized that the university is keen to encourage students to engage in positive participation in competitions and to communicate effectively with students from Egyptian universities.

Register Now for the First Robotics Championship at Benha University
Under the auspices of Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Benha University is launching the first robotics championship. This event is a distinctive student and technological initiative aimed at developing practical and creative skills for students in the fields of robotics, programming, and artificial intelligence.
The championship will start in September, providing a competitive platform to showcase student projects and practical applications, thereby enhancing creativity and innovation in smart systems. It also aims to connect academic education with industrial and professional realities, preparing students for the digital job market.
The championship targets students from public, private, and technological universities, as well as those specializing in engineering, computer science and artificial intelligence, and sciences. Additionally, it welcomes students from technical and technological schools and faculty members interested in robotics and artificial intelligence.
The top three winners will receive cash prizes, along with special awards for the best design, programming, and innovative ideas, encouraging students to produce advanced robotics technology.
