The University council is held under the presidency of Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, the university president and it takes place in the presence of prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the vice president of post graduate studies, prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the vice president of students and educational affairs, Mrs. Shereen Shawky, the secretary general of the University, the faculties' members and the council members. The University president orders that the academic edifices in the faculties should be completed in accordance with the laws of the Universities' supreme council so as the University can move forward to the achievement of the quality and accreditation criteria. 

Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, the university president assures that the University is keen to provide a high quality services to the expatriate students with regard to the nutrition, the housing and the medical and social care. This comes in accordance with the sudden visit conducted by the university president to the University hostels at Kafr Saad and he accompanied by prof.Dr. Awaad Allah Soliman, the head of the University hostels.

Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, the university president inaugurates the 12^th scouts' festival of Benha University leadership development center under the slogan of "Together, we build further". This event takes place in the presence of prof.Dr. Mohamed EL-Zabalaouy, the acting dean of the faculty of agriculture, prof.Dr. Ezzat EL-Khait, the head of the faculties' members centers, prof.Dr. Khalid Esawi, the general supervisor of the students' activities and prof. Dr. Mosbegh EL-Khehily, the head of the youth care administration.
