Benha University obtains top ranks in the competition of martyr EL-Refaai 51
Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the university president indicates that the University students obtain top ranks in the competition of martyr EL-Refaai 51 for athletics (males/ females). This competition is organized by the Egyptian sports Union for the universities at the AUC’s stadiums in Cairo. El-Gizaway congratulates the wining students who won 6 golden medals, 5 silver medals, and 5 bronze medals encouraging them to positively participate in the different competitions to be always in the right track.
New Ministerial decrees to renew the appointment of general managers in Benha University
Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the university president announces that there are new ministerial decrees to renew the appointment of general managers in Benha University. These decrees include the renewal of the appointment of Mr. Wael Fouad as the head of the university secretariat, Mr. Sherriff Abd Allah as the head of medical affair in the university, Mr. Mohamed Mustafa Abd EL-Aziz as the head of post-graduate studies and scientific research in the university, Mr. Khalid Mustafa Ahmed as the general manager of the faculty of engineering/ Shubra, Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim EL-Sayed as the general manager of the faculty of agriculture, Mr. EL-Sayed Magawory Mohamed as the general manager of the faculty of education and Ms. Howiyda Fawzy Ahmed as the general manager of the faculty of arts.
Benha University holds a workshop about teaching staff strategic leadership in cooperation with DAAD
Under the auspices of prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the university president, the international relations office and DAAD hold a workshop about teaching staff strategic leadership. It’s noteworthy that Ms. Heba Selim delivered the lecture. The University president stresses that the university pays a due attention to scientific research in cooperation with the diverse institutions and educational entities in Egypt so as to get benefited from them in training the young researchers and the teaching staff. These workshops aim to strengthen the ties that will hone the potentials of researchers, teaching staff and employees.

Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the university president stresses that the university is keen to help the researchers and the teaching staff reach their full potentials so as to positively affect the university reputation. EL-Gizaway says: “the university pays a great attention to help the teaching staff maximize their research capabilities in response to the modern challenges and the advanced technologies contending that effectiveness is the key standard to fill the leading vacancies”. This statement comes in accordance with the meeting in which the University president has with the teaching staff to discuss scientific research-related issues in “Tahia Misr” hall.
The faculty of arts gets rewarded in the competition of media Excellence
The students of media department get rewarded in the competition of media Excellence that takes place in Misr University for sciences and technology. Benha University participation comes under the auspices of prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the university president, prof.Dr. Amgad Hegazi, the dean of the faculty of arts and prof.Dr. Arabi EL-Touki, the acting head of the media department. The wining projects were conducted under the supervision of prof.Dr. Amal Khatab, the assistant professor of journalism and prof.Dr. Fathy Ibrahim Ismail, the assistant professor of journalism.
EL-Gizaway: “We seek to enhance the quality of administrative performance”
Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the University president holds a meeting with the faculties’ managers to set the general policy of the administrative performance in the University that shall result in enhancing the overall administrative reputation. This is done in the presence of Ms. Shreen Shawkay, the secretary-general of the university, Mr. Rafaat Nan, the assistant secretary-general of administrative affairs, Mr. Ayman Boiumey, the assistant secretary-general of financial affairs, and Ms. Rania Motaaz, the assistant secretary-general of community service and environment development.

Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the University president issues a number of new decrees which include: the reappointment of prof.Dr. Mohamed Ghoneim as the head of quality management and accreditation center, prof.Dr. Shady EL-Mashad as the IT advisor and the head of the general service center for IT, Prof.Dr. Eman Abdel EL-Haq as the head of foreign languages center, prof.Dr. Abdel Kader Abdel Karim as the general coordinator of the administrative quality management, prof.Dr. Mohamed Saied as University president chancellor of the engineering affairs and technical supervision, prof.Dr. Ahmed Youssef as the head of the foreigners care center, and prof.Dr. Hazem ELewa as the academic manager of the university branch in EL-Obour city.
The decrees also include: the reappointment of Mr. Ibrahim Gowda as the media official in the university, prof.Dr. Fatma Abdel EL-Wahab as the head of strategic planning center, prof.Dr. Sayed Abdel El-Wanyes as the general supervisor of the university hostels, prof.Dr. Ayman Samir as the head of innovation and entrepreneurship center, prof.Dr. Hani Shehta as the head of the faculties’ members’ leadership development center, prof.Dr. Mahmoud Abdel EL-Gaffar as the head of development projects center, prof.Dr. Azza Abdel Allah as the head of measurement and assessment center, prof.Dr. Mohamed Abdel EL-Fattah as the head of E-exams center, prof.Dr. Khalid Esawi as the general coordinator of students’ activities, projects and initiatives, prof.Dr. Amr EL-Awamry as the head of the IT internal network and the main official of the university’s incubator of biotechnology, prof.Dr. Adel Nabil as the head of digital library and prof.Dr. Mahmoud EL-Habak as the head of the IT training center.

Wael Mekky as the head of military education, Mr. Ragi Amer as the university president’s chancellor for societal outreach and communication, prof.Dr. Ashraf EL-Mashad as the head of medical skills lab, prof.Dr. Hani Zakaria as the supervisor of the University’s stadiums, prof.Dr. Shimaa Salah as the head of educational studio, prof.Dr. Ehab Saad as the head of E-Learning center, prof.Dr. Mohamed Reda as the head of printing, publishing and distribution center, and prof.Dr. Abdel Fattah Monged as the head of the international office in the university.
The decrees also include: the reappointment of prof.Dr. Mohamed Anwar as the supervisor of the University hostels in Subra, prof.Dr. Ashraf Abdel EL-Twaab as the supervisor of the University hostels in Kafr Saad, prof.Dr. Ashraf Zaglol as the supervisor of the University hostels in Moshtohor, prof.Dr. Taha Mohktar as the supervisor of the University hostels in Toukh, prof.Dr. Ahmed Naguib as the vice supervisor of the leadership development center, prof.Dr. Mustafa EL-Sayed as the vice head of E-exams center, prof.Dr. Mina Sobhy as the vice head of the measurement and assessment center, prof.Dr. Manar hosny as the vice head of innovation and entrepreneurship center and the acting head of communication office between the University and the patent office and prof.Dr. Ghada Abdel Hamid as the vice supervisor of the educational studio center.
